Ultram
Detox
Ultram detox offers humane help to
Ultram dependent patients becoming online addicts.
Kelly, a 34-year-old mother of three from the Richmond
suburb of Powhatan recovered from fused vertebrae
surgery in 1988 with the help of prescribed Ultram.
Like
many patients under a prescribed painkiller regime,
Kelly had not intended for her Ultram treatment
to drive her to a pharmaceutical dependency. Many
patients start on pain relief or opiate medications:
- to manage pain,
- to treat emotional disorders,
- or to enjoy recreational elation

Once their dependency takes over, they end up in
our offices seeking medical help through rapid detoxification
from the prescribed drug. They had not understood
the long-term consequences of powerful dependency,
addiction, and withdrawal until it was too late.
Kelly maintained her busy schedule by taking two
50 mg Ultram tablets three or four times daily (maximum
dose) … until her doctor moved. Then Kelly
turned to the Internet where she spent thousands
of dollars per month at online pharmacies and upped
her dose by a factor of ten.
She progressed to the point where dependent patients
try both to maintain their stability and to avoid
painful withdrawal. She relied on Ultram not to get
high, but to supply enough energy to meet the demands
of business and family. Her Ultram treatment escalated
to such high levels that she did the unthinkable
to obtain the amount of drugs her body demanded.
Kelly’s life fell apart when she started to
phone in bogus prescriptions to pharmacies. Finally,
she was arrested and sent to rehab.
When patients begin to self-administer an Ultram
treatment in order to manage life and alleviate withdrawal,
dependency has snuck in. When illegal acts
start to drive drug consumption, life-threatening
addiction will take over if medical care like
Ultram detoxification is not sought.
The Waismann Method of Rapid
Detoxification offers a medical
solution to patients dependent on Ultram ®, or
who experience addiction to opiate medications.
The Waismann Method
The Waismann Methodsm for Ultram detox has been
a clinically proven treatment effective for a wide
range of opiates including Codeine, Darvocet ®, Dilaudid ®, Heroin, Hydrocodone, Lorcet ®, Lortab ®, Methadone, MS
Contin ®, Norco ®, Oxycodone, OxyContin ®, Percocet ®, Percodan ®, Stadol ®, Suboxone ® (Buprenorphine ®), Tramadol (Ultram ®), Vicodin ®,
and others.
The Waismann Methodsm maintains its leading position
in treating the disease of Ultram physical dependency
and sets the standard by which other treatments are
measured. We are committed to changing the way the
world views drug dependency. It is no longer a hidden
and shameful disease of the stereotypical "drug
addict," but rather a medical disease caused
by a legitimate chemical imbalance.
The Waismann Method of detoxification Under Anesthesia
utilizes the most advanced medical techniques available
for opiate dependency. Patients are treated with
the highest level of professionalism, dignity and
respect.
- The procedure takes place in a full
service hospital to provide the close
monitoring. Patients are admitted for a complete
medical evaluation the day before procedure. It
is imperative that patients spend 24-48 hours
in-patient so pre-medication can be properly
administered to stabilize body functions which
help to achieve a smooth and safe procedure.
- Patients are transferred to the intensive care
unit (ICU). This medically induced withdrawal is
controlled and closely monitored by either Dr.
Bernstein or Dr. Lowenstein, both Board Certified
anesthesiologists who are nationally recognized
for their expertise in the use of the Waismann
Method. Upon awakening, the patient
is no longer physically dependent on opiates and
has no conscious awareness of experiencing the
withdrawal process during the procedure.
- Patients are monitored under our care at our
hospital to stabilize their mental and physical
condition. Usually patients are discharged at least
24-48 hours or when authorized by our physicians.
We are proud to offer our patients the best
medicine has to offer for opiate dependency…
The major difference between the Waismann
Method and other medical detoxifications is the
safety, comfort and success of our patients. Every
patient has a different medical and dependency
history, and at the Waismann we treat our patients
as individuals with specific needs.
Our Optional After-Care and Treatment Center
The Waismann Method has also created an after-care
environment, called Domus
Retreat, which treats related dependencies of
all kinds: anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and
personal crisis. We firmly believe that post-detox
treatment should occur in a peaceful environment
filled with dignity, respect, and optimism.
Unique in its approach, Domus Retreat focuses on
an individual’s core issues that may have sustained
an addiction cycle. Healing of these issues occurs
through multiple, intensive psychotherapy sessions
with highly credentialed professionals. In addition
addressing to core issues, we design individualized
treatment for the unhealthy repetitions and thinking
patterns from the past that have contributed to dependency,
self-destruction and relapse. Group work at Domus
Retreat occurs in small, effective and private settings.
We blend these unique treatment elements along with
spa elements, to affect significant and lasting change.
We are dedicated to the personal change that places
you on the path to sustained recovery!
Domus Retreat provides a private, intimate experience
in an exclusive, ultra-luxurious setting. We limit
the retreat to only 6 patients maximum at one time.
The Waismann Method is an effective, safe
and humane answer to this devastating illness.
